Declaration of Nieuw Guinea Raad (NGR) Festive in Dogiay

Yesterday, December 6, 2021, 7 representatives of the West Papua National Parliament (PNWP) in Tanah Papua declared the New Guinea Raad (NGR) openly at the Moane field, Dogiay.

."The Nieuw Guinea Raad is the first democratic political body of the Papuan nation which was formed in 1961, and today we reclaim it as a legitimate democratic institution of the Papuan people outside of Indonesian colonial law and politics," said Aminus Balingga, the elected chairman of the NGR in front of thousands of peoplePapuan people.NGR was revived in a conference attended by representatives of 7 PNWP factions in Tanah Papua, which took place in Yalimo, 21 June 2021, and was declared openly in Dogiay.

.thousands of people thronged starting the action since 7 am, rallied to Moane Square until it finished at 15:00 pm. In front of the masses of the people, NGR asked the people to build their political tools in NGR.

.conveyed to the Government of Indonesia to immediately recognize the legal and political sovereignty of the Papuan nation in accordance with the 1961 political manifesto, and urged the Indonesian government to stop all crimes against humanity, allow the UN Human Rights Commission to visit West Papua, and guarantee the right of the Papuan people to make decisionsown destiny.
